Iris Scott is a Brooklyn-based painted who is renowned for ditching tools that other painters prefer in their armour – painted brushes and palette knives. Instead, she is known to use her fingers to create these stunning masterpieces.

She uses oil paints on the canvas to create paintings using just her fingers.

The details and sheer class of her creativity can be clearly seen in all her paintings above – fishes in the pond, shaking wet dogs, deer in the forest, peacock and fish – are some of her masterpieces. Her instructional booklet titled ‘A Finger Painting Weekend‘ got published recently.

The artist says she prefers using fingers over brushes because she feels that she can manipulate thick paint better with her fingers than brushes or even palette knives. Her work is truly detailed and mesmerizing at the same time!
