Made some DELICIOUS vegan baklava and I haven’t stopped eating it since😍 This honestly tastes so heavenly and was WAAAY too easy to make. Takes about 15 minutes to prepare and something about layering the phyllo is so satisfying + therapeutic👀💛 10/10 recommend making this!

1 Pkg of phyllo dough
Melted vegan butter for layering

3 cups crushed walnuts
2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 cup brown sugar

Sugar Syrup:
1 cup water
1/2 cup natural maple syrup
1 cup coconut sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp salt

Preheat oven to 400. Melt vegan butter and layer one phyllo sheet and melted butter on top of one another until you’ve used up half the package. In a bowl, mix all the filling ingredients and spread evenly over phyllo! Repeat the butter and remaining phyllo sheet layering process until there’s no more sheets! Cut into squares and bake in the oven for 40 minutes. Boil sugar syrup toppings and then reduce heat and simmer. Once baklava is done baking, pour sugar syrup over it and YOU’RE DONE! 🌱💛✨
