NO BAKE TURTLE BARS🍫🐢

I can’t get over these no bake turtle bars. The combination between the crunchy pecans, gooey caramel and oat bar is unmatched😩 Top anything with chocolate and I am soooo on board. These are made with whole, nutritious and DELICIOUS ingredients. They’re also no bake because who likes turning on their oven in the summer? 🙅‍♀️🙅‍♀️

Oat Bar Layer:
– 1 cup oat flour
– 1 cup quick oats
– 2 TBSP cocoa powder
– 1/4 cup chocolate spread or nut butter of choice (i used chocolate tahini spread from osesameofficial)
– 1/4 maple syrup
– 3 tbsp of any plant milk (add more if needed)
– pinch of salt

Caramel Layer:
– 1 cup pre-soaked pitted dates
– 1 TSP vanilla extract
– 3-4 TBSP warm water
– pinch of salt

Toppings:
– chocolate chips
– pecans
– melted chocolate

If your dates are hard, start by soaking them in some boiling water to soften them up. Combine all bottom layer ingredients in a bowl and mix together until it forms a crumbly and moist consistency. Transfer to a deep dish with parchment paper and flatten firmly. Blend your caramel layer ingredients. Add more water until it’s smooth and you’ve reached the desired consistency. Spread caramel layer on top of the bars. Top with crushed pecans, chocolate chips, and more melted chocolate if you want! ❤️
