PEAR WALNUT RICE CAKES (quick n easy healthy snack idea) 🌱🤍
We had tons of pear left over this week so I decided to make a delicious snack with them! Rice cakes are perfeeeect for a quick bite when you’re not too hungry, but definitely should not be replacing bread. This combo is the perfect sweet n salty treat! The carmelized onion and agave really takes it to the next level 🤤
– 3 rice cakes
– sliced pear
– crushed walnut
– carmelized onions
– agave syrup
I started by caramelizing my onions in a pan with some coconut oil and balsamic! Let this sauté and simmer for about 10 minutes until you’re satisfied with the caramelizing! Top your rice cake with a layer of hummus, fresh kale, some sliced pear, walnuts, onions and then highly recommend drizzling some agave too!!
